A series of two paintings based on The Coral Greenhouse - an Underwater Art Museum based in The Great Barrier Reef. As this installation was only installed in 2019 (having been sunk into the sea) it is gradually being absorbed into its surroundings and built upon by the reef itself. Currently it is a fairly skeletal structure still, however it provides a perfect space for ever changing marine conditions and refuge for marine species. The paintings have been elaborated upon and are a future snapshot of the structure fully submerged in its underwater environment to include corals, mangrove roots and all other forces of marine nature.
